Helping an English family in Madrid with the arrival of twins!

“Lucia brought us eat healthy, delicious home cooked meals at the most important time in our lives. She provided meals just before and after the arrival of our twins. The dedication and work she put into a menu for our dietary requirements was incredible, we loved her menu choices. It was so good we repeated the service later on too and wouldn’t hesitate to call her again in the future or try her cooking classes!”

Helping with cooking classes for your family

Helping with a gift voucher as a newborn gift

“I received ‘I will cook for you’ as a newborn gift and as a mum of two children, I have to say that it is without a doubt the most useful gift we had, giving me precious time with my newborn and leaving me free to entertain my two years old. The vegetable soup was lovely for lunch, nutritious and filling and the free loaf of homemade bread was just perfect to go with it.

Lucia’s beef lasagne was a bit hit with all of the family, so full of flavour, there were clean plates all round, and the portions generous enough that I have enough frozen for another meal!

An all round wonderful service that I would happily recommend to all my family and friends.”

Helping with a function at school

“I asked Lucía to help me out as we had a function at school. The theme was international dishes, Lucia made for us a beautiful paella and two tortillas de patatas that were exceptional. I am a busy working mum and could not have done it myself. It made the day and the evening stress free and very enjoyable! And we also got to taste Lucia’s wonderful paella.
Thank you Lucia!”

Helping with a vegetarian lunch party for 10 people

“Lucia Casas catered a family Sunday lunch for me for 10 people.  It was a vegetarian meal so represented a challenge in making it interesting and balanced.  To start she made a butternut squash soup which was delicious.  Perfectly balanced in flavour and loved as much by my 5 year old as by my 78 year old great aunt.  She also suggested serving it in different ways, either with a drizzle of olive oil and some fresh thyme or with a spoonful of crème fraiche, either way it was delicious and all served with her fabulous home made wholemeal bread.

She made a vegetarian lasagne which was varied and interesting.  Made with ricotta instead of béchamel sauce it was a substantial meal with plenty to go round which made it really good value for money.

For dessert Lucia made a zucchini (courgette) cake.  This was fantastic, what a flavour, not too sweet, really enjoyable and it looked great in a ring shape, very professional with nuts scattered on top and a dusting of icing sugar.

I think that Lucia’s service offers great value for money, really delivers on flavour and the bonus is she is an absolute pleasure to work with.”

Harriet, mum of two children. Wimbledon.
